Jessica Zhuo leads the effort of tutoring elementary school math. Your student can reach out to our team for any subject below:
- Knowledge of place value (ones, tens, etc.)
- Addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers without regrouping, up to 100, using models and algorithms
- Exploring number patterns on a hundred chart and with a calculator
- Learning and comparing money values including the quarter (25 cents), half-dollar (50 cents), and dollar (100 cents)
- Adding four-digit numbers
- Subtracting with regrouping
- Rounding numbers to the nearest tens and hundreds
- Understanding two- and three-dimensional shapes
- Solving word problems that involve time, money, and measurement
- Addition and subtraction with regrouping
- Understanding place value
- Solving problems with decimal points
- Creating a number sentence or equation from a word problem
- Finding perimeter and area of a shape by counting units
- Familiarity with both the traditional and metric systems
- Rounding numbers to the nearest ten, hundred, thousand, ten thousand and hundred thousand
- Dividing with two-digit divisors
- Ordering and comparing fractions
- Comparing perimeter and area
